Our Ethics

Why the need for a code of conduct? Because we have found that some companies will use unethical practices, which can harm a business's online presence and in some cases, their offline reputation too. Also, by highlighting these, we hope to educate businesses of these practices.

The web development industry is an unregulated industry and as such, companies should be wary when choosing a web dev company

Quality Control

We ensure that all our websites validate with the W3C guidelines (and not just your homepage). We test our sites on the major browsers ( IE 5+, Netscape 5+, Opera 6+ and Mozilla), ensuring that your site has valid markup, and resulting in better formatted webpages accross multiple browsers and operating systems.

Search Engine Optimisation

We will only optimise a website for keywords which are relevant to your target market. This means that you will get quality targetted hits from visitors who are looking specifically for your products or services. We are against the practice of “hidden text”, “link farming” and “doorway pages”, i.e. deceiving search engines as to the true nature your site.

“Hidden text”, “link farming” and “doorway pages” can result in your site being blacklisted from search engines

Domain Ownership

All domain names will be registered in the name of the customer. This means you have full ownership of the domain. We advise people to check with their registrar before registering a domain that they will be classified as the owner.
