Our Approach
Stage 1: Client Consultation & Briefing
Upon showing interest in our services, a meeting will be arranged with the client to define goals and objectives of the project to be undertaken. At the meeting, we familiarise ourselves with your products and services, gain a better general understanding of your company to enable us to propose a definite plan of action for the project. The client is invited to ask any questions regarding what is achieveable.
Stage 2: Proposal & Cost Projections
We will assemble a detailed proposal of the project for the client with a breakdown of the cost involved. The client is presented with this proposal and if necessary, we will refine elements of the plan to suit the client’s needs.
Stage 3: Concept Design Phase
Acid's design team brainstorms to develop an underlying theme for the graphical interface to follow. This varies from client to client, as the concept is dependent on the genre of website being created. The client is constantly updated on the progress of the design and it is altered to the client’s preference.
Stage 4: Back-End Programming (if applicable)
This is an optional stage, but a stage that most clients avail of nonetheless. Back End Programming consists of programming a website so that it is capable of passing information to and from a server. For example, a client may desire a contact / enquiry form, which must be configured so that a message can be passed through a server, which subsequently e-mails the message to the client instantaneously. Other dependents of Back End Programming include e-commerce, content management systems and other required dynamic elements.
Stage 5: Aesthetic Site Development
The graphical template upon which the site is produced is formulated.
Stage 6: Testing & Client Presentation
The website is approaching completion and is tested on several platforms
and browsers to ensure that it runs smoothly everywhere. When the website
passes the testing phase, it is then presented for the approval of the
client to go 'live'.
It doesn't stop there...
Now that your website is up and running, you should think about how you are going to update it. See our website maintenance page for some ideas.
